The SEL was initially evaluated by compiling all previous data into a simple database. Subsequent assessment highlighted 65 geochemical/structural anomalies. The northern portion of the tenement was covered by 100m line spaced aeromagnetic program. Landsat data was acquired as was digital aerial photography. All data was manipulated in ARCVIEW. Initial anomalies determined by the data review were rock chip sampled with some anomalous results obtained ie. East Brilliant 12-3g/t Au, Mt Davis 7-10g/t Au, Ebony East 3-47g/t. Soil sampling was conducted over 9 prospects resulting in anomalous areas being located of which the more prospective were followed up by rock chip sampling with further encouraging results ie. RKD-24.3, 18.2, 14.5, 13.5 g/t Au, Mountain View 2.52, 0.82g/t Au, Highway 5.06g/t Au. The mineralised zone at RKD is a silicified shale/siltstone, whilst at Mountain View it is associated with ferruginous quartz veins within a siltstone/grey wacke sequence. RAB drilling was conducted at the Everest prospect with poor results, as was that done at RKD, whilst the airborne magnetic anomalies at GT also did not obtain anomalous values. 38 RC holes were drilled at the RKD prospect and a 240m strike length of interesting anomalism was obtained ie 1 to 4m at 1.5-4.15g/t Au.en_US
