dc.description.abstract | Slipstream WANT Pty Ltd (wholly owned subsidiary of Kingston Resources Ltd) pegged EL 31133, EL 31091, EL 31092, EL 31150, EL 31151, EL 31200, EL 31206 and EL 31207 targeting the areas potential to host hard rock lithium in pegmatite mineralisation. The current price increase and interest in lithium is due to its increase in global demand as a result of its use in battery technologies. This has resulted in a 'lithium rush' with numerous exploration licences pegged or re-evaluated based on its pegmatite hosted lithium prospectivity. The Bynoe Project was pegged to explore for pegmatite hosted lithium mineralisation. Slipstream WANT Pty Ltd then entered into a corporate transaction with Kingston Resources Ltd to acquire a number of other lithium projects including the Bynoe Project as well as other projects at Mt Cattlin (WA) and Arunta (NT). Kingston's Bynoe Project has been a key focus for the company during this reporting period. The lithium potential of the Bynoe Pegmatite field was highlighted by neighbouring companies in mid 2016 through significant drill intersections at BP 33, Sandras and Grants. KSN is exploring the Bynoe Project for hard rock lithium (spodumene) bearing pegmatites utilising reconnaissance mapping, soil geochemistry, rock chip sampling, ground geophysics (Deep Ground Penetrating Radar) and RC drilling. | - |
