Abstract

The Compass Creek project remains a high priority exploration target. Unfortunately, the ability to raise funds for the project has remained difficult due to the severe downturn in minerals industry. The lack of funding has limited the work on project during the 2015-16 period to a field visit to the Waterdrum area to located quartz veins, and to an in-depth review of previous work at Waterdrum. This work has led to the compilation of the anomalous exploration data on to a satellite image over the Waterdrum area. In addition, a further review was made of the IP/resistivity data, and comments added to the previously modelled sections. IsMins has continued to work hard to arrange funding for the project, by working with the NT DME Business Development Department, and by following up all possible opportunities. Over the past few years there have been several inquiries of interest that failed to reach a positive outcome. However, more recently, there has been renewed interest in the exploration investment sector, and this has led to positive news for IsMins and the Compass Creek project.
