Abstract: Exploration activities completed on Tanami Exploration Project tenements during 2015 was the collection of 237 soil samples at the Zen prospect, and 480 multi-element geochemical samples from drill core for the Tanami Chemostratigraphy Project. A total of 2,480 historic exploration drill holes were also rehabilitated and/or audited during the year. Results are still awaited for the Zen prospect soil samples, which were collected in December 2015. The Tanami Chemostratigraphy Project has to date shown excellent potential to accurately discriminate between key stratigraphic units in the Tanami Basin using geochemistry alone. However, a more robust test of the methodology will be possible when sampling continues further away from the DBS mine. Exploration activities proposed for the tenement package during 2016 includes the collection and analysis of ~11,000 soil samples, a further 1,145 chemostratigraphy samples, and the assessment and rehabilitation of the remaining 1,724 legacy exploration drill holes and 31 costeans.
