Abstract: | Wells and mineral bore holes discussed in this report are Keep River 1, Lesueur 1, Bonaparte 2 (WA Well), WBN3, NBO1001, NBF1002, WBN5004, NBH1001, WBJ1001, DDH2, DH11. Part 1. The quantity of organic matter (1%) and is quality (mostly Ligneous) give to the whole studied interval (1500-6000') an average to fair gas potential in spite of a maturation stage corresponding to the oil diagenetic zone. Part 2. The comparison between oil and mineral exploration wells show a decrease of the quantity of organic matter but an improvement of its quality in direction of the southern margins. |
