| Abstract: | During the fourth year of tenure, 65 one litre brine samples and eight 500ml duplicate samples were collected from 21 salt lakes within the tenement and two archaeological surveys were conducted. Exploration is targeting potassium, magnesium and sulphate salts within salt water brine in salt lakes within the tenement to eventually produce potassium sulphate (SOP) and potassium magnesium sulphate (Schoenite) fertiliser which will be produced from solar evaporation ponds. |
