Abstract: | During the reporting period, work conducted on the George tenement was limited to a perfunctory field reconnaissance visit to review the proposed drill program and to provide an introduction to the George Project. Some rock chipping was conducted and several radiometric anomalies were visited in an attempt to refine/define an RC drill program, which was conducted in November 2011. The proposed program was modified, seven holes were planned for the George tenement however, two of those holes were not cleared for earthworks and one proposed hole was cleared, but not drilled. Four holes were drilled for a total of 390m at two localities, the George Creek and Bowerbird prospects. Three uranium anomalous intervals were intersected in BBRC002. The first was from 22-23m at 1870ppm U (2205ppm U3O8), the second was from 27-28m at 720ppm U (849ppm U3O8) and the third was from 32-33m at 129ppm U (152ppm U3O8). |
