Abstract: During the reporting period, CALR has not carried out much work, with work mainly focused on documentation arrangement and analysis. CALR finished; mapping, route geological survey, and XRF sampling. Ti Tree Granophyre bounds the western side of the block while Chilling Sandstone and Burrell Creek Formation (both Finniss River Group) are found on the eastern side of the Giants Reef Fault. The strongly anomalous gold results which in many instances are supported by arsenic and lead suggests the presence of a very large mineralised stockwork which is probably hosted by granophyres-porphyry rock and possibly some acid volcanics as well. The prospect area is largely covered by eluvial soils and unconsolidated sand and gravel with NE-SW trending mineralised quartz veins of approximately 2m average width outcropping through the area. Following the geochemical soil sampling a number of deep trenches should be dug by excavator to expose the structure and rock types and to enable channel sampling of the stockworks. This work should facilitate the siting of drill holes for a testing programme which could commence in May 2016.
