Abstract: | The 1975 Seymour Range Seismic survey was conducted by Austral United Geophysical Pty Ltd for Magellan Petroleum in OP175. Approximately 40.25km were shot using the 6-fold Common Depth Point technique whilst 10.5km were recorded conventionally. Data quality in this area was poor. Thus any meaningful interpretation was confined in the southern portion of the survey. A small synclinal structure bounded on north and south by eroded Proteozoic highs were described. These structures were correlated with tight folding exhibited in the outcrop to the east. |
