Abstract: The 2010 Ross Owen 2D Seismic Survey consists of a total of twelve seismic lines, five in the Ross area (northern EP103) and seven in the Owen area (south-eastern EP104). The twelve lines have a cumulative total distance of 545 kilometres. The survey area is located approximately 400 km north-east of Alice Springs and falls within the custodial lands of the Central Lands Council (CLC). Seismic acquisition in the Ross area was undertaken on the Ooratippra and Argadargada stations while the Owen area was on the Tobermorey and Manners Creek stations. This seismic program was designed to better delineate a number of structural leads identified by earlier surveys.
Acquisition was conducted by Terrex Seismic Ltd. Processing was performed by DIVESTCO of Canada and was completed in March 2011. Lines from TEX09-02 and TEX09-03 (Georgina Basin 2D SS 2009) are tied in the processing report.
