| Abstract: | DIP008 includes a wide selection of NTGS GIS files providing an overview of the regional geological and geophysical characteristics of the Northern Territory. DIP008 is intended to provide offline access to data available on STRIKE. The following layers are included in DIP008: diamonds; drilling; geochemistry; geochronology; geological regions; 1:2,500 000 geology; geophysics; mineral occurrences and mines and regolith. Updates are released annually. DIP008 datasets are supplied in MapInfo (TAB), ESRI (SHP) and ER Mapper ecw/ers file formats. |
