Abstract: | Work during the first year of EL 29553 was focused on refining the geophysical case for testing the 1.2 km long gravity-magnetic geophysical anomaly some 3.6 km west of TCD 1. The geophysical work comprised reinterpretation of gravity data collected in 2010. Two vertical diamond drill holes, TCD 2 and 3, are proposed to test the geophysical anomaly, which is thought to represent a NE trending fault zone containing the iron oxides hematite and magnetite. Following the completion of the geophysical interpretation, a Drilling Collaboration Proposal for co-funding under the CORE exploration incentive scheme was prepared and Authorisation 0783-01 was granted for the proposed drilling on 16 January 2014. |
