EL 29553 Gosse 5 First annual report on exploration activities for the period 19 February 2013 to 18 February 2014

Abstract

Work during the first year of EL 29553 was focused on refining the geophysical case for testing the 1.2 km long gravity-magnetic geophysical anomaly some 3.6 km west of TCD 1. The geophysical work comprised reinterpretation of gravity data collected in 2010. Two vertical diamond drill holes, TCD 2 and 3, are proposed to test the geophysical anomaly, which is thought to represent a NE trending fault zone containing the iron oxides hematite and magnetite. Following the completion of the geophysical interpretation, a Drilling Collaboration Proposal for co-funding under the CORE exploration incentive scheme was prepared and Authorisation 0783-01 was granted for the proposed drilling on 16 January 2014.
