Abstract: Mithril first applied for the ground with a view to explore for Nickel sulphide deposits whilst remaining open minded to opportunities provided by other commodities. Exploration has focused on the Harts Range Group and in particular the Riddock Amphibolites. Work completed during the reporting period included: Data compilation and review of exploration data; 18 VTEM anomalies field checked; 5 rock chip samples collected and assayed; 95 stream sediment samples collected; and MMG entering into a ?Nickel Only? joint venture on the tenement. There are a number of VTEM anomalies still to be tested on the tenement and review of stream sediment work will be completed once assays are finalised. None of the surface rock samples provided any indication for the presence of sulphides. The source of the EM response, in all cases, was inconclusive and follow-up work will be required to determine the source of the response. The majority of the anomalies were hosted within the Lizzie Creek Amphibolite which showed no distinct changes in lithology in the vicinity of the EM anomalies. Anomaly 31 and 33 were located close to the occurrence of gabbroic rocks. Samples were collected at these two locations but assays have failed to confirm the presence of sulphides.
