EL 23828 Annual report for the period 11 August 2003 to 10 August 2004

Abstract

Work during the year consisted of a review of historical data, compilation of regional geological and aeromagnetic data and a field inspection carried out in March 2004. The regional geological and aeromagnetic data was obtained from the Northern Territory Geological Survey and Geoscience Australia. The data review uncovered an aeromagnetic and radiometric survey, carried out by Kevron Geophysics for Normandy Gold in 1998, which covered the south western portion of the tenement. This data (Company Report CR 2001-0121 Piebald) was acquired from the NTGS open file geophysical database and submitted to Southern Geoscience Consultants for image processing. Contours of the magnetic data were produced at 5nT contour spacings and 3 images were produced. A ternary radiometric image was also produced. A planned gravity survey, to be carried out in conjunction with gravity surveys over other areas of Troy?s tenement holding (now in progress), was postponed pending the grant of an adjacent tenement, EL 23831, which covers the prospective horizon between the Juno and Eldorado mines. It is anticipated that the planned gravity survey will proceed when EL 23831 is granted.
