Abstract: | During the 1992-1993 year, 1,895,848 BCM of material was mined, while 1,435,318t of ore were treated in the CIP process. This produced 2,498 kg Au and 319.7 kg Ag at an average recovery of 78 percent. Exploration work involved percussion drilling at the Enterprise Mine Area. Percussion drilling at the Monarch Hill was to test the potential for oxide mineralisation over the extension of the Enterprise anticline. A small resource of 6,210t at 2.0 g-t Au of CIP ore and a possible 4,600t at 0.9 g-t Au heap leachable oxide ore. Drilling in the North Enterprise syncline and Eastern Fault Zone was to establish the main zones of interest. Results indicated the potential for a small low grade resource with an average grade of 1.20 g-t Au. The area directly south of the Enterprise Pit was tested for potential shallow oxide mineralisation. A small resource of 9,200t of CIP ore at 2.0 g-t Au was delineated. ore grades were up to 18.70 g-t Au. Percussion drilling immediately north of the North Czarina Pit tested for possible near-surface extensions of North czarina mineralisation. Results were disappointing, delineating only a thin, patchy, sub-economic cover of laterite - colluvium. |
