Abstract: The 1992 drilling programs was dominated by infill and exploration drilling on ERL 97 at the Western Arm Prospect where a total of 9,404 meters of RC and 476 meters of diamond core drilling was undertaken. The drill program continued to return encouraging results and the potential for defining a medium tonnage - low grade resource is considered good. Exploration drilling on EL 5056 returned disappointing results when the soil Au anomaly was tested for bedrock mineralisation. Narrow low grade intersections of up up to 0.75 ppm Au were encounted that would explain the soil Au anomaly. The potential of the area for containing and economic resource is considered low, and no further work is to be undertaken. RAB drilling of ERL 97 and MCN's 4184-6, 2641,2 (Fenton) were successful in better defining the extent of Au mineralisation identified by soil sampling. On ERL 96 much of the bed rock is covered by recent alluvial - colluvial material up to 10 meters thick. Sampling of the soil - rock interface returned results of up to 640 ppb Au and 384 ppm As. On MCN's 4184-6 and 2641-2 the extent of the soil anomaly was tested by lines of RAB drilling across the anomaly. Au results were patchy with a high of 225 ppb Au. Results defined strong anomalous zone to 329 ppm As councident with a zone of veining. Further work is required on both tenements.
