Title: Adelaide River Project EL 24880 Annual Report for the year ending 17 April 2009
Title Holder / Company: Scimitar Resources

Year: 2009
Author: Rust, A
Abstract: This report details the exploration activities carried out over EL 24880, the Adelaide River Project in the Northern Territory, during the period 18th April 2008 to 17th April 2009. Exploration conducted during the reporting period included an airborne magnetic/radiometric survey comprising 2,070 line kilometres on 100 metre line spacings, over the entire project area. The survey was undertaken by GPX Airborne utilising a fixed wing Cessna 210, flying at a nominal height of 50 metres above the natural ground level. The final corrected geophysical data was re-processed by Resource Potential in Perth, to provide the company with a variety of GIS geophysical products in Mapinfo and ECW/ERS formats. This imagery and vector data includes DTM topography, magnetic inversions and a variety of uranium, potassium and thorium radiometric layers. Analysis and interpretation of this data by Scimitar has identified a number of radiometric uranium anomalies within EL 24880, which require further investigation and field verification. These targets will be the focus of field exploration programs during the coming year. This work will involve field reconnaissance trips, including geological mapping, ground based geophysical and radiometric surveys and rock chip and soil sampling programs. This work is expected to refine the targets for a program of RC drilling.
