Abstract: Exploration Licence 23483 was acquired from Tanami Exploration NL (TENL) by Deep Yellow Limited (DYL), with a transfer being registered on 5 December 2006. Tanami Gold NL (Tanami) identified the potential for Proterozoic hosted gold mineralisation in the basement rocks of the Napperby area. EL 23483 which formed part of Tanami's Napperby Project, lies in Central Australia approximately 200 kilometres north-northeast of Alice Springs. Eleven rock chip samples were taken on the relinquished portion of EL 23483. The best gold value returned was 10 ppb and the best base metal value returned was 1312 ppm Cu.
