Abstract: | Soil and stream sediment geochemical surveys returned no significant results. Rock chip sampling concentrated on the south-west part of the licence. Samples taken from the weak bedding parallel veining in the hinge zones of some folds returned values to 0.6g-t Au. Samples taken from blue grey quartz fitting tension gashes returned a best sample of 4m at 0.14g-t Au and 10m at 0.64g-t Au. Thin sheeted veins near old tin workings returned 1.03% Sn and 0.56g-t Au from thin sheeted vein systems. These vein systems are thin and discontinuous with limited strike extension thus the potential for finding sizeable gold resource is considered low Structural features reported include: Spring Hill Anticline |
