Abstract

Soil and stream sediment geochemical surveys returned no significant results. Rock chip sampling concentrated on the south-west part of the licence. Samples taken from the weak bedding parallel veining in the hinge zones of some folds returned values to 0.6g-t Au. Samples taken from blue grey quartz fitting tension gashes returned a best sample of 4m at 0.14g-t Au and 10m at 0.64g-t Au. Thin sheeted veins near old tin workings returned 1.03% Sn and 0.56g-t Au from thin sheeted vein systems. These vein systems are thin and discontinuous with limited strike extension thus the potential for finding sizeable gold resource is considered low
