Abstract: The Gateway and Bullseye magnetic anomaly were identified in the first year of the licence from aeromagnetic data. This year the Gateway anomaly was mapped in detail and 1 RC percussion drill hole (GPP-1) was sunk to 147m. A downhole magnetic survey was completed as well as analysis of 4m composite drill chips. Only one slightly anomalous interval 16-20m at 0.12ppm Au was encountered. Gateway anomaly was due to folded magnetic sediments which downgraded the prospect. The Bullseye magnetic anomaly was tested by 1 RC percussion drill hole (CZRC-3) which reached a depth of 159m. Slightly anomalous Cu 102-111m, Pb 96-120m and Zn 113-156m were returned. No anomalous gold values were returned. Hopeful Star East was tested by 22 vacuum drill holes. The results indicated that the surface anomaly was due to contamination from the Hopeful Star Mine.
Structural features reported include: Mary Lane Shear Zone.
