Abstract: | Several samples with high chromite counts were produced by EL 8162 through previous diamond exploration activities. To locate the source of the chromite a ground magnetic and EM-34 survey was undertaken over the anomaly, resulting in one magnetic and four EM-34 targets being selected for follow-up. The targets were sampled for microdiamond and indicator analysis (6 samples). In addition to the surface sampling 4 RAB holes totalling 76m were completed to follow up the geophysical anomalies. A further 41 holes were completed along the positive drainage. Results are to be included in the next annual. Results from 1 x 50t bulk samples are negative. |
