| Abstract: | The Sandover Fluorite Project (EL 34050), located approximately 230 km northeast of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, hosts an extensive fluorite-quartz vein system developed within the Jinka Granite. The project contains multiple fluorite-bearing reefs identified through historical exploration, with limited drilling completed since the early 1970s. Under Round 18 of the Northern Territory Government's Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations (GDC) program, Tivan completed a diamond drilling and geochemical characterisation program designed to improve understanding of the mineralogical and metallurgical characteristics of the fluorite mineralisation. A total of seven PQ diamond drill holes were completed for 518 metres during November and December 2025. The drilling was undertaken to obtain representative core samples for detailed analytical testing and to support future metallurgical studies. Core samples were analysed by ALS Laboratories using a combination of ore-grade fluorine and multi-element analytical methods. Results confirmed the presence of high-grade fluorite mineralisation and demonstrated generally low concentrations of deleterious elements, including arsenic, phosphorus, iron and base metals. The mineralisation is characterised by a predominantly silica-rich gangue assemblage and exhibits geochemical characteristics comparable to those observed at the Speewah Fluorite Project in Western Australia. The results provide an encouraging foundation for future metallurgical testwork aimed at evaluating the potential to produce commercial fluorite products, including acid-grade fluorspar. Planned studies include mineralogical and liberation assessments, comminution testing, flotation testwork, and evaluation of ore sorting and gravity separation opportunities. |
