| Abstract: | A regional structural/geological interpretation for the Patronus tenements in the Pine Creek Orogen will help us to understand the deformation history and the structural setting of gold, VHMS base metals and unconformity style low temperature uranium. This study will synthesize all mapping, geophysical data, drillcore logs and existing 3D models to construct a regional interpretation and a 3D model of the major shears. A two-week field trip led by Dr Mike Green has provided important field relationships through the area. Mike's extensive knowledge of the area allowed access to crucial locations for the structural interpretation. Additional structural data for the Fountain Head deposit was collected using 'core profiler' software on drill core photographs. This report discusses the main findings, deformation history, structural setting of mineralisation, and prospectivity of the region. |
