| Abstract: | This Final Surrender Report for Exploration Licence (EL) 33822 covers the period 14 November 2024 to 14 August 2025. During the reporting period, WA1 Resources Ltd completed a regional-scale desktop assessment as part of a broader review of the company's Northern Territory tenure across the Arunta Region. The assessment incorporated open-file exploration data, regional geophysical datasets, geological mapping, regolith interpretation, and evaluation of exploration maturity to determine the prospectivity of the licence. EL 33822 is situated within the eastern portion of the Paleoproterozoic Aileron Province of the Arunta Block, adjacent to the southern margin of the Neoproterozoic to Palaeozoic Georgina Basin. The area is covered with aeolian, colluvial and alluvial sediments, with interpreted basement comprising Mesoproterozoic metasedimentary, metavolcanic, and mafic lithologies transected by west-northwest-trending structures. Integration of geological and geophysical datasets indicated limited structural complexity, subdued geophysical response, and low potential for mineralisation. On this basis, EL 33822 was classified as Priority 4 (non-prospective) under the WA1 Northern Territory Tenure Review framework. No on-ground exploration was undertaken during the reporting period. The licence was included in the first phase of tenure rationalisation and subsequently surrendered in full. |
