Title: Murphy Hyperspectral Survey Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations - Round 18
Title Holder / Company: Lagoon Creek Resources
Report id: CR2026-0005

Year: 2026
Abstract: Laramide Resources Ltd is a TSX-listed Company who owns 100% of Lagoon Creek Resources Pty Ltd (Operator), Westmoreland Resources Pty Ltd (WRPL) and Tackle Resources Pty Ltd (TRPL; holder). The Murphy Project in the Gulf Region of northeast Northern Territory comprises EL 9414, EL 9319, EL 29898 & EL 23573. On the 5th of June 2025, Laramide was awarded a grant under Round 18 of the NT Government's Resourcing the Territory Program: Geophysics and Drilling Collaboration (GDC) to undertake a 1,424km2 hyperspectral survey across its Murphy tenure in the Northern Territory. The company has undertaken a high-resolution hyperspectral survey across 2,460km2 of its Westmoreland & Murphy Districts in QLD & NT (respectively). To retain a consistent data package aligning with historic acquisition by CSIRO & GSQ, HyVista Corporation were commissioned to acquire HyMap airborne hyperspectral and complimentary high-resolution HyCam digital orthophotographs (to produce orthomosaic and elevation products). The company recognises the benefits of increasing regional geophysical and geochemical data resolution across their NT tenure, aiming to define under-explored/undervalued regions and discover new mineralising systems. The company's focus on Uranium aligns with a decarbonizing world and development of clean energy, however there is substantial metal endowment over the Murphy and Westmoreland Districts with potential for multiple new economy minerals (Sn-W-Cu-Au-U-REE-Pb-Zn-V), which may be attenuated to multiple mineralising systems. The aim of the survey was to provide high-resolution mineral and alteration maps that will be used for identification and vectoring for multiple mineralising systems, leading to proof of concepts including intrusion related/porphyry and IOCG-U across the Murphy and Westmoreland Districts. Laramide have received the datasets and are in the process of merging them with existing geological and geochemical datasets for target generation in the Murphy District. Preliminary review and interpretation of the data has highlighted several conceptual REDOX sites/horizons highly prospective for metal precipitation, providing compelling proof-of-concept support for IOCG mineralising systems within the district. It's envisioned the survey will demonstrate the regions potential beyond the 'Westmoreland style Sandstone Hosted-U'; define baseline profiles for several known Sn-W-Cu-Au-U-REE-V mineral occurrences, leading to new target generation and providing invaluable technical knowledge for explorers with the potential to boost exploration investment into the region beyond Uranium.
