| Abstract: | Slipstream WANT Pty Ltd (wholly owned subsidiary of Kingston Resources Ltd) pegged EL 31132 targeting the areas potential to host hard rock lithium in pegmatite mineralisation. The current price increase and interest in lithium is due to its increase in global demand as a result of its use in battery technologies. This has resulted in a 'lithium rush' with numerous exploration licences pegged or re-evaluated based on their pegmatite hosted lithium prospectivity. EL 31132 was pegged to explore for pegmatite hosted lithium mineralisation. Slipstream WANT Pty Ltd then entered into a corporate transaction with Kingston Resources Ltd to acquire a number of other lithium projects including EL 31132 as well as other projects at Mt Cattlin (WA), Arunta (NT) and Bynoe (NT). Limited lithium exploration has been undertaken within EL 31132 with the reported tin and tantalum works yet to be assessed for lithium or LCT type geochemistry. Reviews of the existing dataset has also noted the prospectivity of the Fletcher Gully Gold Field which is located in the southwest corner of the tenement. This gold prospective area is also of interest to Kingston. |
