Annual Technical Report EL 2455 for the period 12 October 2018 to 11 October 2019

Abstract

GEMCO was granted Exploration Licence (EL) 2455 for the Southern Lease on 12 October 2016. This licence allows for six years in which to undertake exploration activities in the area. GEMCO mines manganese to the northwest of the lease and the exploration rationale is to target potential extensions of known manganese mineralisation further south of the current GEMCO mining operation. During the reporting period, activities focused environmental baseline surveys (fauna and flora), developing a NOI (Notice of Intent) for submission to the NT EPA, obtaining authorisations (Mine Management Plan) and resumption of the exploration drilling program where 80 RC holes were drilled totaling 3,253.5m.
