| Abstract: | The Howley Project Group Report (GR187) consists of Mining Licences Northern (MLN) 4, 176, 809, 826, 827, 828, 829, 861, 862, 863, 890, 891, 892, 993, 1000, 1020, 1027, 1034, 1053, 1062, 1139 and Mining Leases (ML) 30514, 30833, 30887, 30892, 31017, 31124, 31269, 31059. The licences are located close to the Stuart Highway between Adelaide River and Pine Creek, and approximately 150 km south of Darwin and have a combined total area of 73.36km2. The licences sit within the highly prospective Pine Creek Orogen. The area is known to host various commodities, which includes gold, uranium, base metals, PGE, iron ore, manganese, magnesite, phosphate and diamonds. During the reporting period, Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd (Kirkland) have conducted drilling programs around the Cosmo Mine area and Lantern Project areas. A total of 299 underground diamond drillholes have been advanced and 2 surface diamond drill holes during the reporting period. The underground drilling was advanced to further test the Cosmo and Lantern mineralization with the primary aim of converting inferred resources to indicated resource categories. The surface drillholes were geotechnical holes to support underground mine development. An update on the resource models has been undertaken on the Cosmo Mine and the Lantern Mine. The Cosmo Mine has been calculated as having a total Measured and Indicated Resource of 3,089,619 Tonnes at 3.13g/t Au and an Inferred Resource of 1,023,856 Tonnes at 3.26g/t Au (using a cut off grade of > or = 2g/t Au). The Lantern Mine has been calculated as having a total Measured and Indicated Resource of 1,949,551 Tonnes at 3.82g/t Au, and an Inferred Resource of 2,851,992 Tonnes at 4.06g/t Au (using a cut off grade of > or = 2g/t Au). |
