| Abstract: | This report is the second group technical summary of work carried out by Resolution Minerals Ltd (RML, Resolution) on the Benmara Project. Exploration conducted during the reporting period involved the completion of three diamond drill holes on EL 32228 and EL 32883. In June 2023, Resolution Minerals Ltd (RML) was the successful recipient of $150,000 Greenfields Drilling funding in Round 16 of the Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations (GDC) program which is administered by the Northern Territory Geological Survey (NTGS). The grant provided co-funding for RML to undertake a 2 hole, 2000m diamond drilling program to test two exploration models within the South Nicholson Basin. Holes 23BNM001 and 23BNM002 were designed to provide stratigraphic sections within two areas of the South Nicholson Basin where there is a paucity of stratigraphic data to help de-risk mineral exploration for Resolution Minerals, neighbouring companies, and future explorers in the region. An additional hole 23BNM003 was added based on geological results as the program progressed, with the final program comprising 3 diamond drill holes for a combined total of 2002m. Assays returned copper values ranging from 3-10 times background within host rocks with chalcopyrite also being confirmed, supporting the potential for a sediment-hosted copper system in the South Nicholson Basin, an idea which was previously only a conceptual model. Based on the preliminary, encouraging results of the Benmara Project, South Nicholson Basin, Deep Diamond Drilling program, further drilling is warranted along the Bauhinia, Fish River and Benmara fault zones to further understand the stratigraphy. To enhance direct targeting for copper mineralisation, it is recommended that detailed regional datasets be acquired including airborne geophysics (magnetics, radiometrics and electromagnetics) and ground-based exploration methods (gravity, electromagnetics, 2D seismic, mapping and sampling). Both 2D forward modelling and 3D inversions should be undertaken, incorporating all datasets to create a basin model and derive robust drill targets. |
