Annual and Final Technical Report EL31012 Carpentaria for the period 30 September 2016 to 10 March 2025

Abstract

This is the Final Surrender Report for EL 31012, and describes exploration over the title during the period of tenure from grant on 30 September 2016 to cessation on 10 March 2025. It includes description of previously unreported exploration during the title's final year of tenure in the period from 30 September 2024 to 10 March 2025. EL 31012 was located 135 km south of Borroloola, and formed part of Ripple's Barney Creek Project. Existing exploration data indicates a persistent unexplained anomalous Zn-Mn-Ni-Pb-As-Cu-Pb(-Co) trend which partially lies within EL 31012. The title area also features geology consistent with an asbolite (Mn-Co oxide) source. Exploration activity over the life of the title comprised desktop technical evaluation of existing exploration data. A Renewal Application lodged on 30 September 2024 was refused due to no on-ground exploration having been conducted during the life of the title. The title was ceased on 10 March 2025.
