EL 31421 DC West Project Annual report for the period 23 June 2023 to 22 June 2024

Abstract

EL 31421 (Project) is located approximately 130km WNW of Katherine and 100km SW of Pine Creek. Previous exploration and mineral development activities in the Project area have highlighted base metal, uranium and REE occurrences. The general area of this application also contains barite occurrences. The potential for the Project area to contain significant REE-Y mineralisation appears to be excellent. The Stromberg and Scaramanga Prospects are characterised by strong NW-SE-trending U, U2/Th and U/K responses within linear K depletion zones. The general area within and surrounding EL 31421 also hosts a number of elevated U2/Th and U/K ratio responses within K depletion zones that may be marking other REE-Y accumulations. The Stromberg, Scaramanga and Skyfall North Prospects exhibit significant similarities in geochemical responses, and there is potential to locate new mineralised zones at Scaramanga.
