EL 31421 DC West Project Annual and Final Report for the period 23 June 2017 to 6 January 2025

Abstract

EL 31421 (Project) was located approximately 130km WNW of Katherine and 100km SW of Pine Creek. The Project area contains base metal, uranium, REE and barite occurrences. The Stromberg and Scaramanga Prospects are characterised by strong NW-SE trending radiometric U, U2/Th and U/K responses within linear K depletion zones. The Project contains a number of other elevated U2/Th and U/K ratio responses within K depletion zones that may be marking other (covered) REEY accumulations. The potential for the Project area to contain significant REE and U mineralisation appears to be good, however, the economic aspects need to be better understood.
