Abstract: | Exploration Licence (EL) 29859 (the Licence), is located in the Tanami Region of the Northern Territory and formed part of the Tobruk Project area. The Licence is located approximately 600Km northwest of Alice Springs and formed part of the Tobruk Exploration Farm-In Joint Venture between Prodigy Gold and Newmont Exploration. EL 29859 is situated within the Granite-Tanami Orogen (GTO) and, as such, has been explored for the presence of gold mineralisation since its grant in 2016. To the north of the Licence lies the Dead Bullock Soak (DBS), which is best known to host the world class Callie deposit. In 2024, the decision was made to surrender the Licence in its entirety. |
