Title: A Stratigraphic Reconstruction of Bulk Volatile Chemistry from Fluid Inclusions in 82-68, Birrindudu Basin, Australia
Report id: CSR0610
Year: 2025
Author: Carr, L
Corporate Author: Geoscience Australia

Drillhole/Well Name: 82/68
Abstract: As part of the Birrindudu Deep Dive, Geoscience Australia commissioned a fluid inclusion stratigraphy (FIS) study on the drill hole 82-68 located in the north-eastern part of the Birrindudu Basin, Northern Territory. FIS analysis, where volatile components trapped with fluid inclusions are released and analysed revealing the level of exposure of the drill hole section to migrating fluids, was performed on 175 core samples from 12-510 m. The results of the study are found in the accompanying documents.
