EL 30294 Jervois Project Fourth Annual Report for the period 4 December 2017 to 3 December 2018

Abstract

The Jervois project is located in the central eastern part of the Northern Territory, approximately 400 km east north-east of the regional centre of Alice Springs. The project consists of a single exploration licence; EL 30294 (Jervois), which is the subject of this report. Exploration at the Jervois project is currently targeting the potential occurrence of economic base-metal and precious metal mineralisation, vanadium and uranium. Exploration work was conducted on EL 30294 during the current reporting period involved; completion of geological mapping and sampling program during August 2018, including collection of 192 soil and 18 rock chip samples, the testing of all soil and rock chip samples by pXRF, cataloguing of rock chip samples and cutting at the NTG core shed and completion of data entry of all field observations from the August field program and commencement of interpretation of assay results. Sampling completed during August 2018 focussed on reconnaissance testing of two sample sites corresponding with a large +ve gravity anomaly detected by previous gravity surveying conducted on EL 30294. Potentially anomalous lead and zinc values were detected in some of the 192 soil samples, but no copper values were detected. Potentially anomalous copper was detected in rock chip samples however, with a program of follow-up soil sampling being proposed for early 2019.
