Abstract: | EL 30280 is located approximately 100kms southeast of Darwin. It was granted 15 October 2014 and is 100% owned by Ross Anictomatis. The tenement has outcropping rocks of the Finniss River Group (Burrell Creek Formation) in the middle and southwestern parts of the tenement and the South Alligator Group in the north eastern corner. The area has undergone polyphase deformation, and folding is tight to isoclinal with the fold axes trending north to north-northwest and plunging both to the northwest and south west. Exploration during the year included reconnaissance of historical workings and ongoing geological review of historical data and 2016/2017 reconnaissance results. Historical data during the year review highlighted a previous resource report. The company currently has the following main targets: South Alligator Group gold mineralisation associated with anticlinal structure (NE corner of the tenement), high grade gold shoots in the main Mt Ringwood area, new gold deposits hidden under alluvial cover in the central-north area of the tenement and alluvial gold deposits around the main Mt Ringwood area. The following exploration is recommended for next year: Ongoing capture of historical data; Continued rock chip sampling; MMP for drilling and costeans; Drilling. |
