Abstract: | Lithium Plus Pty Ltd acquired EL 31242 from Kingston Resources Ltd through a corporate transaction incorporating a larger package of Northern Territory tenements covering the Bynoe and the Arunta regions. This package of tenements is targeting the area's potential to host hard rock lithium in pegmatite mineralisation. The current price increase and interest in lithium is due to its increase in global demand as a result of its use in battery technologies. This has resulted in a 'lithium rush' with numerous exploration licences pegged or re-evaluated based on its pegmatite hosted lithium prospectivity. Lithium Plus assessed the lithium potential of EL 31242 during corporate due diligence on the broader tenement package and is in the process of reviewing the gold potential as illustrated by the Tip Top Prospect within EL 31242. Lithium Plus is also closely watching Gladiator Resources initial drilling program at Kroda being undertaken in late 2018, testing IP anomalies. Lithium Plus believe that successful results in the neighbouring tenure may increase the prospectivity and interest in the gold potential of EL 31242. Lithium Plus visited the tenement area in August 2018 to assess access and meet the landholders (Neutral Junction), but no sampling was undertaken. |
