ML 29937 Annual Report 13 February 2017 to 12 February 2018 Hayes Creek Project - Priscilla Line

Abstract

There has been no on-ground exploration work undertaken within the mining lease area during the reporting period by Rockland Resources. Summary of Bevan James Griesbach 2016-17 mining activity on ML 29937, approved under Authorisation 0917-01 involved sites YG10 Jacko Creek and YG11A Southwest. YG10 Jacko Creek site area was approved for 0.5 ha clearance with an average depth of 2-3 metres. The area was cleared of vegetation and the pit excavated and overburden stockpiled alongside the pit to enable easy backfilling. The gold bearing ore was trucked to the small alluvial process plant located ML 29933. The Pit was backfilled including oversized rocks. Rehabilitation will commence in the 2018 dry season due to access issues. YG11A Southwest was approved for 0.05ha clearance with an average depth of 1metre. The gold bearing ore was trucked to the small alluvial process plant located on ML 29933. Mining halted during the 2016-17 wet season. The pit is shallow and producing fine alluvial gold. Mining will recommence in 2018. Gold extraction from YG11A Southwest was approximately 0.4grams of gold to the metre, with the occasional small gold nugget.
