Second Annual for EL 32248 The Aladdin Project V - Fe - Ti - Al 19 March 2021 to 18 March 2022

Abstract

Mineral Exploration License (EL) 32248 was granted to Santonian Resources Pty Ltd on 19th March 2020 for a term of 6 years. The Aladdin Project is located 40 km South East of the settlement of Top Springs and 240km South from Katherine. Historically the area has been suspected to have bornite mineralisation due to iridescent stains found within the laterite. Recent field trips conducted by Santonian Resources have found that the erroneous reports are mineralised laterite that comprises of high anomalous Vanadium, Iron, Titanium and Aluminium content. Geological reconnaissance was carried out in Operational Year 2 where it was found that the weathered profile did not contain the enriched vanadium and titanium laterite. In addition, drilling results intersecting a REE anomaly from a nearby tenement prompted to seize the proposed exploration activities for Operational Year 2. 121 of the 249 blocks have been retained and have been situated around the REE anomaly from the nearby tenement where the next 12 months will comprise of geological reconnaissance and desktop studies to determine if the anomaly extends into EL 32248.
