Abstract: | Exploration License EL 31563 is located 140km south east of Darwin, 12km west of the Hayes. Creek township and 1.5km west of the Mt Bonnie mine and is wholly owned by Rockwash Pty Ltd. This report covers exploration activities on this tenement during the first year of tenure. COVID 19 restrictions hindered Rockwash from carrying out all its exploration plans on its tenements during the year, however the company was able to still carry out reduced exploration on some tenements including EL 31632. Two reconnaissance visits were completed during the reporting period with the northern half of the tenement visited. A spectrometer traverse was completed during the second visit however no significant anomalies were measured (results were not recorded). Two rock chip samples were taken from the most eastern end of the spectrometer line but were not submitted for assay. EL 31563 has excellent alluvial gold exploration potential. The main target creeks are those creeks showing or sourcing areas of anomalous values in historical data. Exploration on EL 31632 for the next reporting period will focus on exploring for palaeodepositional areas on the southern side of tenement downstream from historic gold anomalism identified during historic data review. Plans for reconnaissance and auger/costean will be included in an MMP document planned to be submitted this month. |
