Abstract: EL 33306 of 722 square kilometres is located immediately northeast of Alice Springs in subdued topography of the MacDonnell Ranges. It was granted in May 2023 and surrendered in March 2024. The area is in the southeast of the Aileron geological Province and includes substantial outcrop of Palaeoproterozoic metamorphics assigned to the Wigley Domain and lesser outcrop of the Ankala Domain. Primary target commodities are base metals, energy metals and battery metals. There are no mines, deposits, prospects, recorded mineral occurrences or drillholes within the tenement area. The area has been explored for base metals, uranium, diamonds and gold with no significant results. Surface sampling covering most of the EL area by previous explorers comprised 115 stream sediment, 67 rock chip and 25 soil samples. Geochemical assays failed to define any drill targets or even identify areas for infill or follow-up sampling. Assays for many of the target commodities of base metals, energy metals and battery metals were carried out, although assays for REE's and other critical minerals are sparse. Exploration reviews and analysis of airborne multispectral data failed to identify any prospects. The total absence of any significant anomalism from all sampling across all elements, and the lack of any reference to pegmatites or veins in published mapping diminishes the prospectivity of the project. No new data was collected in the first and final year of tenure. Gempart has advanced exploration programs on other EL's and has recently secured new tenement. In consequence EL 33306 has been retired to focus efforts on more fertile prospects.
