Title: | Group Report 305 MLN 634 - 635 Annual Report for the period 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017 |
Title Holder / Company: | Redbank Copper Redbank Operations |
Report id: | CR2017-0684 |
Tenure: | MLN634; MLN635 |
Year: | 2018 |
Abstract: | During the reporting period work undertaken involved digitisation of local scale (1:4,000 to 1:10,000) geological mapping. The polygons created were used in order to aid identification, interpretation, and prioritise soil and auger geochemical anomalies over the Redbank tenure from existing data sets. This work involved levelling across assay digest types (partial and full digest, portable XRF) and sampling methods (soil and auger samples). The results modelled areas of higher Cu anomalism via Log Z-score levelling methodology. These are summarised in Figure 4. The surface geochemistry tabulated data has previously been reported. A large (circa 1,000km2) Aerometrex aerial imagery at 15cm pixel resolution, with 6m centre digital elevation model data, was acquired during the final part of the reporting year. This data will be used to generate contours to aid geological mapping interpretation. More precise drainage catchments could also be generated for refining stream sediment sampling program. The DEM will also be used for identification of signature depressions and knobs which characterise Redbank style mineralisation surface expressions. The complete data for ELR 94 for the 2016 reporting year was submitted with the 2016 combined annual report. |
