Abstract: | Activities undertaken on MLN 624 during the reporting period from 1 January to 31 December 2017 included a ground EM Survey (part of a larger survey that also included ground on the surrounding EL 26938). It was considered that there was potential for a small resource of oxide copper partially lying within MLN 624, and because of the potentially high carbonate content (dolomitic host rocks) glycine leach testing of a sample from Pacifico RC hole (drilled 2016) CCR08 was undertaken. The ground EM survey did not show new conductive anomalies within MLN 624. Glycine and acid leach testwork on oxidized copper mineralisation in RC hole CCR08, appears to show conclusively that the material at Coppermine Creek is not economically treatable by leaching. |
