Title: | EL 24808 Annual Technical Report for the period 10 August 2016 to 9 August 2017 |
Title Holder / Company: | Eclipse Metals |
Report id: | CR2017-0351 |
Tenure: | EL24808 |
Year: | 2017 |
Author: | Hall, C |
Abstract: | EL 24808 is held by Eclipse Metals Limited and covers a residual 27 subblocks within the northern Ngalia Basin, after a compulsory third year partial surrender in 2009. The project is considered prospective for sandstonehosted uranium deposits, being proximal to and containing the same stratigraphic horizon as the Bigryli uranium deposit. The Eclipse project area had an airborne Radiometric/Magnetic survey at 100m line spacing completed in 2008; and a Tempest Airborne Electromagnetic programme at 1,000m line spacing completed in 2011. In 2017 a detailed gravity (over 1100 stations) and passive seismic survey was planned but not completed at the time of writing, due to the company seeking confirmation of completed Sacred Site Clearance Certification from the Central Land Council. The company expects to receive this Certification post-reporting date, and to commence the work in the current 2017 field season. |
