Title: | Final and Relinquishment Report for Compass Creek Project EL 25399 and EL 25436 Pine Creek Goldfield |

Abstract: | Four target areas delineated by Ismins within EL's 25399 and 25436, namely Southern Magnetic Anomaly, Mavis Anticline, Mountain Area and Breccia Pipes, display geophysical anomalies (IP and /or AEM) that indicate the presence of chargeable conductors at depth. The nature of the conductors have yet to be established as little or no surface mineralisation of extent has been located. The breccia pipes appear small and appear to more related to tin mineralisation than gold. Anomalous base metal mineralisation from selected vein samples in the Mountain area attest to some leakage of hydrothermal solutions from depth. Cordierite spotting also indicates the presence of contact metamorphism. The Mavis target is located in a structurally favourable setting within the core of a north plunging anticline, and intersected by the major NNW trending Pine Creek Shear Zone. Geophysics indicates north trending chargeable bodies which could relate to axial plane shearing along the axis of the anticline. Recce scale soil and rock chip sampling did not provide any surface indication of gold mineralisation. The Southern Magnetic Anomaly is the only target area that is weakly mineralised on surface but did not display anomalous geochemistry. No drilling was undertaken by Ismins. |
