Abstract: | Slipstream WANT Pty Ltd (wholly owned subsidiary of Kingston Resources Ltd) pegged EL 31242 targeting the areas potential to host hard rock lithium in pegmatite mineralisation. The current price increase and interest in lithium is due to its increase in global demand as a result of its use in battery technologies. This has resulted in a 'lithium rush' with numerous exploration licences pegged or re-evaluated based on its pegmatite hosted lithium prospectivity. EL 31242 was pegged to explore for pegmatite hosted lithium mineralisation. Slipstream Resources Pty Ltd then entered into a corporate transaction with Kingston Resources Ltd to acquire a number of other lithium projects including EL 31148 as well as other Arunta Region tenure and projects at Mt Cattlin (WA) and Bynoe (NT). The historic Tip Toe gold prospect is located in the north west portion of EL 31242. This prospect was identified through soil geochemistry and has been vacuum and RC drill tested in the 1990's. Whilst the recorded RC intersections are relatively minor they are shallow, based on 3m composite samples and KSN believe that the prospect remains under explored. Since the RC drilling at Tip Toe in the 1990's ABM Resources have identified new and updated existing prospects at Kroda which is hosted in a north westerly trend which strikes approximately 2 km north of EL 31242. |
