Abstract: The tenement is located approximately 25 km north of the Tennant Creek township in the Northern Territory. It can be accessed from the Stuart Highway, which runs through the title, thence via existing public roads and tracks. EL 33061 is situated within the Warramunga and Tomkinson Provinces, in the Tennant Creek Region of the Northern Territory. The Warramunga Province comprises greywacke, shale, siltstone, sandstone, haematitic shale, granite, dolerite, basalt, dolostone, and felsic volcanics. The Tomkinson Province is predominantly composed of sandstone, dolostone, shale, and basalt. Work done included; Literature review. No field working has been carried out during the reporting period. Early records show in 1953 that drilling led to a development programme, which included sinking a main shaft and cross cut on the 21, 30 and the 46m levels. The area was worked for three years until 1956. Reported intersections during the mine's life included 3.66m @ 43.5g/t Au from the 30m Level-NE Drive. Based on the literature review, there is potential for the area host gold mineralisation within ironstone lodes or at their margins in breccia stringer zones. However, due to focus on other more promising exploration projects, this project is surrendered.
