Abstract: | This report documents work undertaken by Rio Tinto Exploration Pty Ltd (RTX) on EL 32106 for the period 12 November 2019 to 11 November 2019. EL 32106, Cow Paddock, was lodged following the analysis and interpretation of phase 1 results from the North Australia Hydrogeochemistry Survey (NAHS). Desktop review of historic datasets was conducted to better understand the prospectivity and likelihood of SEDEX style Zn-Pb mineralisation hosted within in Proterozoic basement. In order to examine QAQC risks associated with the NAHS sampling campaign, Buddah Bore was resampled by RTX to validate the anomalism. Assay results at Buddah bore confirmed Zn anomalism but failed to repeat Pb anomalism. Future exploration will involve ground IP geophysics in order to identify economic grades and thicknesses of sulphides in Proterozoic basement. Drilling would be contingent on positive results returned by the ground geophysics. |
